Indie-pop quartet, The Aces, select 10Trax for an 'Angsty Girl Summer'.
Four years on from the release of their acclaimed debut album, ‘When My Heart Felt Volcanic’, The Aces have climbed the ranks of indie-pop.
Formed of sisters Cristal (vocals/guitar) and Alisa Ramirez (drums), McKenna Petty (bass), and Katie Henderson (lead guitar/vocals), the band have been close friends since school in Provo, Utah. It’s this longstanding trust and understanding in each other that has allowed them to explore in complete unabashed musical honesty the process of growing up and falling in and out of love.
The band’s latest release, queer anthem “Girls Make Me Wanna Die” whisks us back to angsty teenage years and the bittersweet act of falling for someone.
To keep the vibes going, The Aces picked 10Trax for the perfect ‘Angsty Girl Summer’. Turn it up!
