Tibasko select their 10Trax for New Year's Eve, with songs that will get you hyped for midnight.

Childhood friends TIBASKO are up and coming in the world of dance music. Their debut 2018 EP Alma has amassed over 1 million streams on Spotify and their release, ‘Icaro’ was championed by SiriusXM, BBC Radio 1, and 1Xtra. Dubbed as ‘Ones to Watch’ by BBC Introducing, ‘Future Stars 2021’ by Pete Tong, and ‘Emerging Artist for 2021’ by Billboard, their endorsements speak for themselves.

Their latest release, “Hibiscus”, is another imaginative techno track set to be equally as popular. To celebrate the recent release, we asked the pair to select 10Trax for New Year’s Eve to get you hyped for midnight and ready to dance your way into 2022. Turn it up!

“Icaro” by TIBASKO

Our own secret warehouse stomper featuring haunting Bulgarian vocals and a relentless sub kick, wait for the drop.

“Techno Belter” by Mella Dee

Disjointed and glitchy record, guaranteed to turn heads.

“I Have a Love (Overmono Remix)” by For Those Who Love

Euphoric and bouncy anthem, close your eyes and be lifted by the vocals.

“Man With The Red Face” by Laurent Garnier

Classic party starter with such a recognised and loved sample.

“Life is a Dance Floor” by Shapeshifters

The tune we'd want to hear when the new year starts, feel good disco at its finest.

“Higher (Steel City Power House)” by KETTAMA

This track has such an unbelievable feel-good vibe to it. We just love the dingy, warehouse vibes to it, perfect for taking the crowd into the late hours.

“Surrender” by Gerd Janson & Shan

A real dancefloor pumper if you want to get the crowd going – perfect for those times when you want to rile up your New Year’s Eve party to the next level.

“Slim Lim” by Human Movement

This track is absolutely lethal – always goes off on the dancefloor. It’s got this infectious groove to it that we just love so much.

“Yeke Yeke (Hardfloor Edit)” by Mory Kanté

Acid baseline, catchy worldly vocals, driving beat – this track has it all. This song just wants to make me jump around and go crazy.

“Like This” by Pangea

We love the bouncy bassline and the classic garage style beat – it’s reminiscent of that 90s garage sound but with a deeper twist to it. Not to forget the unbelievably catchy vocals! So good.
