Discover Broadwick Live’s 20,000-capacity open-air venue, which will reopen its doors with an electronic music events schedule next month.

Silverworks Island, Broadwick Live’s 20,000-capacity open-air venue, returns with a renewed focus and energy this summer. Set against the dramatic industrial backdrop of East London’s Royal Docks, the vast three-stage space on the water’s edge reopens this July, bringing together world-class music programming, cutting-edge production, and one of the most unique locations in the capital.

Originally launched in 2023 with a short run of debut shows – including landmark events from Worried About Henry and State of Dance – Silverworks Island made an instant impact. Now, Broadwick Live, the team behind iconic venues such as Printworks and The Drumsheds, are evolving the space into something even bolder. For 2025, they’ve redefined the site into a cultural playground where labels and external promoters can stage full-scale, festival-standard events in the heart of east London.

Nestled between the curve of the Thames and the striking silhouette of Millennium Mills, Silverworks Island is a space where the impossible can happen for anyone who’s a fan of electronic music. Raving while planes glide overhead and water laps nearby, the location provides a transportive quality unlike anywhere else in London. Easily accessed by the Elizabeth Line, DLR, and the Emirates Air Line, it offers a truly unique vantage point for live music and large-scale cultural events.

This July marks the start of Silverworks Island’s newly evolved summer series – four major shows across two weekends that reflect the venue’s commitment to curating across the full electronic spectrum. On July 5, Michael Bibi brings his emotional ONE LIFE homecoming to the Island, joined by The Martinez Brothers, Chris Stussy and BLOND:ISH. Michael and the ONE LIFE team will be donating a portion of ticket proceeds to The Royal Marsden Hospital, following his diagnosis and remission with CNS Lymphoma in 2023.

The following day sees a bass-fuelled blowout from Worried About Henry featuring Sub Focus’s immersive Circular Sound, Hybrid Minds and Hedex’s My Home Is The Rave concept – picking up where they left off in 2023.

On July 12, Sonny Fodera teams up with Capital Dance to host a hand-wafting and sun-soaked house party with MK, Armand Van Helden and Jazzy, before the series rounds out on July 13 with trance icon Armin van Buuren and his global phenomenon A State of Trance, joined by Ben Nicky and more.

With expansive open-air staging, high-spec production and a renewed mission to give creative teams the freedom to build at scale, Silverworks Island has carved out a new space not only in London nightlife, but on the international festival circuit too. Don’t miss out on these unforgettable experiences this summer.
