Flyght Club’s 'Slow Burn' captures the bittersweet essence of love’s inevitable decline with haunting melodies and poignant lyrics.

Flyght Club, the music project of Shauvik Sharan, has released ‘Slow Burn’, a bluesy ballad that intricately weaves the emotional landscape of a relationship quietly unravelling. Rich in sonic textures and heartfelt lyrics, the song encapsulates the deep-seated helplessness that often accompanies the realisation of an impending end. Unlike conventional breakup anthems, ‘Slow Burn’ doesn’t hinge on specific events; instead, it reflects the slow, painful drift that time can impose on even the most seemingly perfect relationships.

The verses are infused with a sweet melancholy, juxtaposed against the choruses that feature unusual chord progressions, creating a sense of discomfort. This musical contrast poignantly mirrors the complexities of love fading away – beautiful yet haunting. As Shauvik deftly handles every aspect of the production, from writing to mixing, he ensures that the essence will resonate deeply with listeners.

Perfecting his craft in Los Angeles after growing up in Pune, India, Shauvik blends his diverse influences, drawing from classic rock to contemporary sounds. ‘Slow Burn’ showcases his versatility and marks a significant milestone in his journey, earning an honourable mention from the Songwriters’ Association of Washington.
