Lily Hain turns up the heat with her fiery new alt-pop track, “Spicy”, out now.

Whether you’re searching for a hot new summer cut, or something to soundtrack your next breakup, Lily Hain‘s latest offering “Spicy” ticks all the boxes. The release opens listeners up to an edgier version of the artist, showcasing her versatility with new alt-rock sounds injected into her go-to pop. Serving as a heated response to a complicated breakup, “Spicy” sees Lily pour her heart and soul into her music and empower those who have faced similar challenges.

Speaking on the inspiration behind “Spicy”, Lily Hain reveals, “Spicy is about a breakup. Initially, things ended amicably but then the other person tried to return only to do something that really angered me. So I decided to channel all my frustration into this song as a way to let it go.”

The single falls ahead of her upcoming debut album, which is slated to drop early in 2024. Having just been announced, there’s little info about the release – aside from some clues about the themes. Its first song is said to delve into the heartache of breaking up, while “Spicy” clearly takes a more cathartic, post-sorrow approach. Until ‘24, though, release a little pent-up energy with Lily’s first cut.
