The rising star talks finding inspiration, loving collaboration and what's coming next.
No stranger to evoking feelings of authenticity and freshness, Stevie Matthew has been hitting our playlists time and time again as of late – and his newest release is no exception. An anthem dedicated to the feeling of embracing love without limits, ‘All The Time In The World’ captures a vibe that is undeniably smooth, sexy and soulful. With alluring vocals, slick instrumental and nods to nostalgic pop and R&B influences, the record bridges classic and modern in a way that’s categorically timeless. It’s a track that feels equally at home on a late-night drive as it does soundtracking your summer romance.
Stevie’s dual talent as both a distinguished producer and artistic songwriter has propelled his music to the forefront of the R&B game. Previously known for his work with the likes of Robin Thicke and Olivia Holt, Stevie has been making noise for quite some time. Now pairing with R&B legend Eric Bellinger, he’s stepping into a new chapter that promises both growth and boldness. Gearing up to a highly anticipated album drop later this year, Stevie is kicking off the summer right. We’re in no doubt the album is set to become a career-defining moment.
At just 20 years old, Stevie is proving himself as an unstoppable force. Here, he dives into the emotions behind writing ‘All The Time In The World’, discussing collaborations, his creative process and what’s next for the 20-year-old record-producer.

‘All the Time in the World’ with Eric Bellinger just dropped, can you talk us through how that collaboration came about?
‘All the Time in the World’ is a record that I wrote and produced. I sent Eric a few ideas, and we’ve been in the studio lately, but this one just felt like the perfect record for both of us. He took it to the next level, too.
The track is described as a “smooth, soulful summer anthem” – what story or vibe were you hoping to capture?
It’s just my sound as an artist and musician, more authentically than I’ve ever presented it. The song is a feeling I was living and wanted to write about, and the music draws straight from my biggest inspirations.
What’s your favourite part of the songwriting or production process?
I’d say two moments in my process always feel like magic. One is when I’m starting a record and realize early on that I’ve got a special one. And the other is my last listen, when a record is finished and I have no more changes or notes.

If these singles were a scene in a movie, what would they be and why?
‘All the Time in the World’ comes across sexy, but it’s really a romance record. The music video paints the picture of the story, an evening out & back home, giving time to take care of your girl.
Who would you like to collaborate with next?
Collaborations are all about the energy for me, and aligning on the music with somebody is the most important part. I’m excited to announce and for the world to hear my next few collaborations.
What’s inspiring you the most at the moment?
With my debut record done, stepping into creating the right visuals, photography, and storytelling to come with the music has been that.

What’s a creative idea you’re yet to explore but would love to get in motion?
Exploring translating my artistry into a live setting – hearing and seeing these records with a new energy has been exciting.
Who’s on your playlists at the moment?
I have records playing 24/7, from all different generations – some of my new favorite current artists would be Blxst, Maeta & Paradise.
What’s next for Stevie Matthew?
I’m excited to bring this project into the world with visuals and live shows – and I’m always in the studio making more.
