Electronic producer and artist Chósta collaborates with independent artist Jape on new single “That Object Spoke To Me”.

Chósta is an Irish producer and artist building a framework of tranquil electronic tunes. Back with a brand-new release, “That Object Spoke To Me”, follows the artists’ previous alluring instrumental “Vox”.

This July saw Chósta play his biggest show to date with a support slot for Caribou in Iveagh Gardens, Dublin. Now onto his latest, “That Object Spoke To Me” sees Chósta work with Jape (AKA Richie Egan), together pairing intricate tranquil sounds for a minimalist finish. Forever thinking of new ways to spice up his creative process, Chósta draws influence from the discombobulated cut-up technique of collage art and the works of visual artist William Burroughs. Across this new track he also adds an audio clip taken from an interview with William.

Speaking about the single Chósta says: “The track is intended to be uplifting and dream-like, capturing the boundless possibility of life when you put your mind to something and find the beauty in the process.”
