The BRIT Awards announce their 2023 Rising Star Shortlist for this year, its 30th anniversary, with long-time broadcast partner ITV.

On Tuesday 29th November the BRIT Awards shared their 2023 BRIT Rising Star shortlist, featuring Cat Burns, FLO and Nia Archives. Partnered with Mastercard, next year will celebrate 25 years of consistent partnership between the BRIT Awards and Mastercard, and 30 years with ITV.

The 2023 BRIT Rising Star awards features some of the industry’s best trailblazers at the tipping point of their career and are yet to receive an Official Album Charts Top 20. Originally known as the  Critics’ Choice Awards, this specific award has seen nominations for some of the nation’s most prestigious artists including Adele, Florence + the Machine, Celeste and many more.

Speaking of her nomination Cat Burns says: “A BRITs Rising Star nomination was a major thing on my bucket list for me this year, so to have achieved that honestly means the world to me. I’m super grateful for the year I’ve had and am so honoured to have been chosen”.

The winner will be announced next Thursday 8th December, and the official BRIT Awards 2023 will take place at the O2 Arena in February next year for the 13th year running. Simultaneously played via a live stream on ITV, it’s fair to say next year’s BRIT Awards is filled with mammoth anniversaries, and what better way to celebrate it than with some of the industry’s best rising stars.
