Blending cosmic funk with soulful gospel, Arp Frique returns with The Gospel of Jesamy - a genre-defying new project that brings together powerhouse vocals and vintage synths.

Arp Frique is back, and he’s not just releasing a record; he’s launching a movement. With ‘The Gospel of Jesamy’, out today via COLORFUL WORLD / Rush Hour, the Dutch sonic alchemist fuses his signature blend of P-funk and gospel-disco into a rich, genre-blurring celebration of groove. Known for his swirling guitars, bubbling basslines, and love of obscure synths, Arp once again delivers a sound that’s both retro and radical.

Having earnt praise from tastemakers like Gilles Peterson, Louie Vega, Coco Maria and Floating Points, and collaborated with legends like Ronald Snijders, Arp’s reputation is global. He’s played live sessions for KEXP and Red Bull Music, toured Asia, and even dipped into fashion; his signature hats were recently spotlighted in cult Dutch mag Mirror Mirror.

This time, he teams up with powerhouse vocalists Brandon Delagraentiss and Rocq-E Harrell, whose voice has graced the records of Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle and Earth, Wind & Fire. Backed by The Perpetual Singers and longtime collaborators, this new incarnation of Arp Frique is primed for festival stages across Europe in 2025, including North Sea Jazz, Eurosonic and Way Out West.
