The wait is finally over. Here's our line-up for our stage at this years' Great Escape festival.
Nothing is better than sunshine, a few pints and the best upcoming artists of the year all showcasing their music talents in one of the UK’s dreamiest beach towns. Paving the way for the UK’s best new talent, The Grest Escape Festival never fails to give music lovers the best experience year after year. Set in a location which is best known for its prominent identity for culture, art and all-inclusivity, Brighton is beautifully enriched with cascading amounts of street art, bars, clubs, music and dance venues with a booming LGBTQ+ scene. With an immense level of creativity and identity, there is no doubt that Brighton is home a festival that champions the new and the next.
Lewis Capaldi, Kara Marni and Easy Life will be headlining the festival this year, joined by over 48 talented artists performing across the seafront on more than 30 stages. To top this highly anticipated summer announcement we are super excited to announce that we will once again have our own Notion stage at the festival, featuring an abundance of some of the freshest sounds on the scene!
Taking over Brighton beach from Thursday 9th May to Saturday 11th May this year, we have lined up the grooviest selection of artists each evening so you can continue to party hard until the sun goes down!
For the first evening of the stellar festival, we have major performances from the sweetest and most soulful voice in alternative soul, Joy Crookes, followed by Indie Singer-Songwriter and YouTuber Conan Grey, as well as Kiana Lede before rounding off the day with Notion fave and UK pop sensation Mae Muller!
The second evening of the festival we have got another alternative stellar line up from Miami’s finest experimental electronic artist Yves Tumor, experimental London pop band Jockstrap, Amsterdam’s misty-electronic artist Bea1991 finishing with Keyah/Blu South London’s singer-songwriter and rapper.
On the final evening of the festival, we are finishing this year’s Great Escape with London’s finest creative collaborative group NINE8! With performances from the group themselves followed by the jazzy neo-soulful vibes of Biig Piig and the hip-hop vibes of London’s vintage queen Lava La Rue, perfectly finished by Manchester Indie Trap band BadGirl$! Don’t forget to pick up the latest issue of Notion to check out our dedicated Great Escape zine, which profiles some of the mega names taking part in this years event.
You know where to find us on Thursday 9th May, so come down and catch a vibe!
