Girl Tones, Saint Clair and Ain’t will perform at our stage as The Great Escape release their FIRST FIFTY lineups to showcase emerging talent all over London.

Festival season isn’t quite over yet. While muddy fields and glittery face paint may seem like a distant memory of summer, The Great Escape (TGE) is giving you a taste of what’s to come with the announcement of their FIRST FIFTY lineup. Originally a Brighton-based festival known for championing the hottest emerging music, they’re heading to London to spotlight the forerunners ahead of the main event in May.

This November, we’re bringing three rising stars, Girl Tones, Saint Clair and Ain’t, to The Victoria in Dalston. A genuine Victorian boozer serving up craft beers and cosy vibes, the gig room lies behind a hidden bookshelf door where our acts will perform.

Girl Tones bring high-energy rock music from Kentucky. Off the back of their US tour, the sister-duo will travel to London with the promise of grungy guitar, vigorous basslines and bold behaviour.

Alt-rock meets mellowing shoegaze with Saint Clair, an indie outfit making music with a dreamlike melancholy. Moody riffs and pensive lyricism accentuate the band’s hazy atmosphere, guaranteeing a spellbinding performance.

Art-punk band Ain’t lean into their mercurial energy with celestial vocals and 90s-inspired guitar. Heralding a mesmeric show, the five-piece dance between an otherworldly aura and something innately human, compounded by their emotional storytelling and vivacious stage presence.

TGE’s FIRST FIFTY are certainly lineups to make note of, with events taking place all over the big city in a collaborative celebration of soaring talent. Check out the full FIRST FIFTY lineup on their website. Pre-sale tickets are available here, as general admission goes live on Friday, the 19th of September at 10am.
