Merging fashion and music, Stone Island’s new musical initiative features curated playlists and live mixes from top artists, kicking off at the C2C festival in Turin.

Stone Island has always been a label that has been dedicated to design by purpose and contemporary culture. A long-standing pioneer in garment innovation and functional design, the brand has been consistently pushing boundaries in fabric technology for over five decades. Over the years, Stone Island has cultivated a devoted global community, celebrating heritage while embracing contemporary culture. As it launches today, Stone Island Sounds, Sound As A Form Of Research feels like a natural next step for the Italy-born brand: it marks their cultural progression and evolution, aiming to build on the brand’s mantra “Community As A Form Of Research”.

The Stone Island Stage at C2C music festival in Turin will see the start of the new Stone Island Sounds initiative. Spotlighted will be acts like A.G. Cook, Billy Woods, and Kode9, as well as multiple other well-known names. Chosen collaborators and friends of the brand will also be curating playlists and recording live mixes that will correspond with the Stone Island platform.

This edition introduces seasonal playlists—Primavera, Estate, Autunno, and Inverno—set to release quarterly, starting with Autunno ‘024. Additionally, the _Stone Island Sound_Curated By series will feature selections from community members, starting with contributions from rising stars John Glacier and Yaeji. And for aficionados of live music, _Stone Island Sound_Live offers a treasure trove of past performances, including sets by Space Afrika and Tiga, exclusively available on Apple Music in immersive Spatial Audio.

Available for streaming on both Apple Music and Spotify, Stone Island Sounds is more than a playlist; it’s an evolving celebration of community, culture, and the intrinsic relationship between music and fashion. As Stone Island continues to innovate and engage, the new project promises to maintain sound as a shared form of exploration and connection.
