Larusta & The Dead Dogs' debut album The Life You Save May Be Your Own explores grief, resilience, and personal rebirth.

London’s newest dark alternative sensation, Larusta & The Dead Dogs, have released their debut album The Life You Save May Be Your Own. Hailing from a small rural town in southern Germany, Larusta (the frontman) has carved out his musical identity through years of moving between cities, projects, and personal reinvention. His decision to settle in London became a turning point, marking the beginning of a deep creative journey leading to this highly anticipated debut.

The album, written during the solitude of the first lockdown, blends raw alternative rock with reflective storytelling. Larusta describes the album as a “Dark Lyrical Alternative” experience, with each track representing a stage in the journey of grief, resilience, and self-discovery. While the themes of loss and healing emerged organically in the writing process, they are deeply embedded in the album’s evocative lyrics and haunting instrumentals. Each song grew from a personal moment, a fleeting image or text idea, into a powerful piece of music that resonates universally with listeners.

The album’s official release was celebrated with an exclusive live event at Berlin’s Art Stalker in November, offering a unique chance to experience Larusta & The Dead Dogs playing the new project live for the first time. The Life You Save May Be Your Own is more than just an album—it’s a rebirth, bringing Larusta’s deeply personal stories to life.
