Charlotte Boin is back with her latest single 'the night is long', exploring the highs and lows of social anxiety.

Blending soulful R&B with catchy pop beats and a touch of her French roots, Charlotte Boin is back with a new single. Out now, ‘the night is long’ explores the highs and lows of social anxiety, capturing the feeling of being at a party where you just don’t fit in — all while keeping an infectious, danceable rhythm.

Following her 2022 debut ‘Eyes On U’, Charlotte’s music continues to reflect her upbringing in the southwest of France, where the vibrant energy and subtle darkness of her hometown helped shape her sound. Drawing inspiration from icons like Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, ROSALÍA, and SZA, she crafts music that feels like a journey through the chaos of your 20s — from love to self-doubt and everything in between.

Relatable and raw, ‘the night is long’ taps into the familiar experience of pretending to enjoy yourself when anxiety takes over. “It’s about being at a party and feeling like you should fit in, but you don’t,” Charlotte shares. “But there’s hope — the night will end, and you’ll get through it. You just have to remember you’re a dope person.”

The single is entirely self-produced, a result of a year’s worth of experimentation: “I started making the beat in early 2023 after a night that inspired the song”, Charlotte Boin explains. “Working on it alone gave me complete freedom to make it as personal and honest as possible.”
