From Underworld’s legendary live show to Caribou’s euphoric soundscapes, Repercussion returns this December with a celebration of electronic music, community and culture.

This December, The Warehouse Project pulls the city into orbit once again as its flagship day-to-night festival Repercussion returns for a first-ever winter edition. On Saturday 13 December 2025, Depot Mayfield will transform into a multi-venue constellation of sound as well as spilling out into iconic local venues Star & Garter and Freight Island’s Plant Room, with five stages running until 4am.

At the heart of it all: Underworld, the electronic titans whose live shows have redefined what it means to command a dancefloor. Expect iconic anthems, live improvisations, and a reminder of why Karl Hyde and Rick Smith remain untouchable. Equally unmissable is second headliner Caribou, weaving tender, euphoric textures through a full live ensemble: a masterclass in building intimacy within the scale of a rave.

The line-up digs deep into the DNA of electronic music. Floating Points takes double duty, performing solo and closing the Depot with Daphni in a back-to-back already tipped as historic. Joy Orbison, Job Jobse, Paramida and a cast of cross-continental selectors carve out the breadth of the scene, while sharp B2Bs – from Parris b2b Amaliah to Call Super b2b Shanti Celeste – promise unpredictable turns. Rising UK talents Matthew Neequaye and KT are set to push the energy forward, while the always-essential SHERELLE, Shy FX and Special Request bring bassweight to the fold.

Away from Depot’s industrial expanse, the festival shines its light on Manchester’s own. CROP Radio take over the Star & Garter, platforming local innovators, while Mastersounds power a Freight Island showcase of the city’s sharpest selectors – from Metrodome to Camilla Reghenzi. Beyond the music, a curated record and retail market celebrates Manchester’s independent lifeblood, with selections from the legendary Eastern Bloc and concept store Suzy Loves Milo.

Repercussion is a 360° immersion in the city’s cultural pulse: from heavyweight live acts to grassroots champions, it’s a one-day map of electronic music’s past, present, and future, written across Manchester’s most iconic spaces.
