Currently based in San Diego, Aaron Bleiweiss traces his roots in Seattle. Honing his skills from the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, Aaron expanded his musical palette further to become the versatile artist he is today. Emphasising the emotions behind ‘Breathe’, Aaron shares, “I lost my dear friend Brian to cancer while working on the album. We were inseparable growing up but drifted apart after college.” He added, “One day, I brought my guitar and played for him. Though he couldn’t speak, he listened, and that’s when ‘Breathe’ began to take shape. It’s the most personal, emotional track on the album, and every time I hear it, I think of the memories we shared.”
Aaron has infused the song’s raw lyrics with melancholy and love, reflecting the emotional depth and authenticity of his relationship with his friend.
