'Prophet' by Venna

South London’s finest Venna releases ‘Prophet’: a self-produced single that sits entirely in its own lane. Although it’s inspired by his jazz-trained upbringing, he wants listeners to view the track as its own entity. It comes alongside a cinematic music video that is both alluring and striking, and well worth checking out.

‘mumbleman’ by Niontay

Inspired by old and new school hip-hop simultanously, on ‘mumbleman’, Niontay glides over cibenetic production and flexes a skippy flow rivaled by none of his peers. This release comes alongside the announcement of his new album, Fada<3of$, as well as an accompanying music video. He’s also gearing up for a ten-date run of shows, supporting the US leg of MIKE’s Artists Of The Century tour.

‘Altered Reality’ by Liam Mour

Berlin-born artist and producer Liam Mour provides us with an ‘Altered Reality’ on his new single. Lifted from an EP called All Set Let's Swim, it’s an ambient and experimental take on electronic music. ”The landscapes, the ocean, the people - it’s all in the music,”, says Liam when explaining how his relocation to Porto influenced the project.

‘light exposures’ by Manta & Tayo Sound

‘light exposures’ by Manta and Tayo Sound is a folky bedroom pop bop. Fusing Dominic Fike’s yearning and Kenny Beats’ groove, the duo curate their unique sound that will be sure to make a mark on alternative music. Exploring themes of modern-day heartbreak and desire, the track is both relatable, while offering an escape.

‘Renascence’ by Arthur Black

If you were to combine influences of The Cranberries and Fleetwood Mac, you would find alt-folk vanguard Arthur Black. ‘Renascence’ is a spooky track where the rising artist’s nomadic upbringing seeps into the narrative. A beautifully haunting display of the singer’s vocals and musicality, Arthur’s songwriting and guitar playing acts as a form of solace for them.

‘Trevor’ by YARD

‘Trevor’ is the latest single from post-punk electronic trio, YARD. An unusual cocktail of biting lyrics and atmospheric soundscapes, the Dublin-born three-piece has curated its own unique sound. The result? A vibe that, when performed live, leaves crowds sweaty, energised, and strangely unnerved.

‘Kintsugi’ by Mystic Tea Party

Spanning sounds that traverse the intersection between electronic and guitar music, ‘Kintsugi’ is the latest single from Australian alt-rockers Mystic Tea Party. The band’s sound is as multifaceted as it is experimental. The title refers to the ancient art of repairing broken pottery and musically, the single will fix a few broken hearts over the weekend.

‘Breathe’ by Indigo Eyes & Georgie O’Brien

Georgie O’Brien and Indigo Eyes deliver a hypnotic blend of pulsing basslines and intricate synth rhythms on ‘Breathe’, crafting a track that’s both emotive and dancefloor-ready. The infectious melodies weave through the driving beat, striking a balance between euphoria and introspection.

‘I Been’ by Ryder & Daniella Wizard

‘I Been’ is a new single from Ryder’s upcoming EP, due later this year, featuring the whimsical Daniella Wizard. Inspired by the rhythms of KAYTRANADA and Channel Tres, the track was created in a hotel room in Albania when he was just 17-years-old.

‘NUMERO UNO’ by EB Rebel

”My producer partner and I wanted to make songs with the feeling that we created when I first began making music, the "Rebel sound”,” explains EB Rebel. Their focus track, ‘Numero Uno’, off of their EP Play At Your Own Risk does just that. With post-punk twangs and a high-energy beat, the track is an exciting concoction of the dynamic and heavy.
