‘Dobermann’ by James Massiah is the first taste of his upcoming project Bounty Law, which will be released in May. The single is a meditative exploration of heartbreak and angst. To celebrate the release of Bounty Law, the artist will also be hosting a launch party at London’s The Lower Third on 10th May.

‘More!’ by Nxdia

Rising alt-pop artist Nxdia brings ’More’, a true summer banger. The Egyptian-Sudanese singer-songwriter is a passionate love anthem that delicately explores romance and queerness. About the track, Nxdia explains, “You need them, you need to know them through and through. The desperation, the craving for more. You want to peel back every layer.”

‘Germaphobe’ by Provoker

Post-punk band Provoker bring ‘Germaphobe’ a pulp horror-inspired track that is one part of a double feature, blending into ‘tears in the club’. The release comes before their forthcoming album Mausoleum. Imagined by the band’s front man, Christian Crow’s vision to create music fit for film scores, ‘germaphone’ is full of macabre and suspense.

‘Afro Bass’ by Introspekt

Producer and DJ Introspekt has been on fire recently, and now she’s back with a brand new single ‘Afro Bass’. Revolutionising the new age UK garage and bass music, the track is a fresh take on dubstep, sampling hooky vocals. Stay tuned as the track comes just before the release of her upcoming debut album Moving The Center, out in June.

‘Did I Go? (Remix)’ by Ikonika and Ebba Asman

DJ Ikonika has hopped onto Swedish jazz trombonist Ebba Asman ‘Did I Go?’, giving it an electronic makeover. “I wanted to completely flip the original and give it a dark and moody treatment with hints of UK funk, deep house and afro-house,” explains Ikonika. Given Ikonika’s previous work with the likes of Ariana Grande and Rosie Lowe, it’s no surprise the remix is a sonic success.

‘Lucky’ by Most Things

Bass and drums duo Most Things bring ‘Lucky’ an off-kilter indie tune that explores the spiralling thoughts that occur after the breakdown of a relationship. The group cleverly contrasts aspects of jerky minimalism and sharp-tongued lyrics, crafting a sound that is extremely unique yet welcomed.

‘spiders without eyes’ by green star

In tandem with the release of their debut EP bleeding swirls, rising London three-piece green star bring ‘spiders without eyes’. The track is meditative, featuring distorted soundscapes and alternative imaginings of guitar. The rest of the EP features the band’s early singles ‘four-o-five’, ‘blades of steel’, and ‘replication’.

‘new links’ by Anysia Kym and Loraine James

‘new link’ by Anysia Kym and Loraine James comes with the release of their EP Clandestine. An mish mash of electronic production, the EP is a crossover of Anysia Kym’s NYC roots and Loriane James’ London upbringing. The result is a beautiful project that combines two different lives, recorded entirely in London.

‘Haldi’ by Mya Mehmi

Punjabi multidisciplinary artist Mya Mehmi bring ‘HaldiI’ a sensual, supercharged track that is an exploration of love and touch, spotlighting the trans femme experience. Produced and written by Mya herself along with a self-directed video, the track is an ambitious reminder of the artist's fine-tuned ear and musical talents. The DIY talent explains, “In a country where my right to exist publicly is being so violently and spitefully denied, and simply leaving the house makes me feel so nervous and unsafe, I feel empowered and proud to release art that so loudly and unapologetically celebrates my trans-WOMAN body in all its raw and real BEAUTY.”

‘The Influencer’ by The Itch

The A side of their companion tracks ‘The Influencer’ / ‘Co-Conspirator, ‘The Influencer’ by The Itch is the band’s inaugural release with Fiction Records/I OH YOU. Following the momentum of their debut single ‘Ursula’, they will be performing their second headline show at cosica Studios on 12th June.
