Listen to this week’s edition of UNDISCOVERED, featuring our pick of the best new music from the world’s most exciting emerging musicians.

‘yalma’ by nabeel

With ‘yalma’, nabeel is uncovering the next chapter of their career in anticipation of the upcoming EP, ghayoom. Frontman Uasir Razak started the project from his hometown in Richmond, Virginia, and with this single, they find themselves resting in the stillness of time, living in the present rather than seeing what the future may hold.

‘That’s My Baby’ by Jae Stephens

Jae Stephens is calling for an R&B girl summer with the infectious single, ‘That’s My Baby’. The Dallas native fuses a slow-burning tempo with her bouncy energy, narrating the early stages of a budding relationship. She’s also currently on the AAA tour with Flo. Where’s our invite, Jae?

‘pacifico’ by Night Tapes

Drifting into a woozy blend of trip-hop and ambient pop, ‘pacifico’ finds Night Tapes dreaming of places they’ve never been but deeply feel. Inspired by secondhand stories of San Jose del Pacifico, the track floats on mellow beats and gauzy textures, capturing a longing that feels both personal and universal. It’s a gentle, immersive preview of their debut album, portals//polarities, rooted in memory, imagination, and sonic wanderlust.

‘Topiary’ by Bug Teeth

Leeds-based band Bug Teeth feel like a breath of fresh air in the dream-pop landscape. Produced by Joel Anthony Patchett - known for his work with King Krule and The Orielles - ‘Topiary’ is a shimmering psych-rock journey that blends lush textures with an eerie sense of wonder. “Referencing the work of artist Ivor Abrahams, the lyrics take familiar images of the natural world and twist the meaning into something more surreal and disturbing,” the artist explains.

‘BARA’ by Yvnnis

With ‘BARA’, Yvnnis wastes no time reminding us why he's one of France’s most compelling new voices, letting crisp flows and razor-sharp delivery do the talking. It’s a stripped-back flex, built on clarity, confidence, and complete command of the mic. As his global presence grows, this track cements his place at the forefront of a new wave that’s rooted in skill over spectacle.

‘James’ by Katie Gregson-MacLeod & Joesef

The second peak into her upcoming EP Love Me Too Well, I’ll Retire Early, ‘James’ by Katie Gregson-MacLeod is a beautifully introspective and personal track. Speaking on the song, the artist explains, “It was the first time I’d thought about what I wanted in a relationship, instead of worrying only if I was what they wanted.”

‘Exhale (Point Hill)’ by Jianbo

Jianbo’s ‘Exhale (Point Hill)’ is a stirring tribute to friendship, memory, and heritage, rooted in a guitar loop salvaged from the pedal of his late friend Dominic Morgan. Layered with India Blue’s soulful vocals, post-rock drums from Charlie Wayne, and jazzy textures from VVilhelm, the track weaves grief and love into a richly textured sonic tapestry. With its cinematic visuals and deeply personal backstory, the single stands as a moving testament to the power of collaboration and remembrance.

‘Magazine’ by Dom Valentino, Celeste, Jeshi, Fredwave & Elijah Waters

Collaborating with a team of heavyweights, like Celeste, Jeshi, Fredwave, and Elijah Waters, south London producer Dom Valentino continues to make waves with his new single, ‘Magazine’. The single was written during a late-night session in Brixton. “It was one of those nights where everything just clicked. Elijah’s verse closed the session, and it felt like the perfect ending - we knew we had something special,” recounts Dom.

’Tomorrow is Perfect’ by mark william lewis

The first artist to sign to A24’s new imprint, A24 Music, Mark William Lewis has been bubbling around in headsy circles for a while, releasing cult EPs like Pleasure Is Everything and God Complex. His first single via the record label burns slowly with its stripped-back acoustics and the former bar italia live band member’s monotoned croons. Catch him at Green Man Festival this year, if you were lucky enough to get a ticket.

‘Thrice As Hard’ by Dual Diagnosis

On ‘Thrice As Hard’, Dual Diagnosis delivers a blistering blend of horror-core intensity and emotional depth, laced with MAD Mike’s trademark raw lyricism. The track's heavy, rock-infused production underscores a cathartic narrative about confronting generational trauma, setting the tone for their new album, Root of All Evil. Featuring a standout guest verse and razor-sharp wordplay, ‘Thrice As Hard’ proves that even the darkest corners of hip-hop can hold space for healing.
