"Shoreditch" by Deyah
Cardiff MC and producer Deyah picks up the pace from her usual laid-back sound. Ten Billion Dreams' production gives way to an irresistible beat, scattered with horn licks as Deyah delivers self-affirming bars.
"Romantico" by icekream
Swiftly rising producer icekream has shared his latest release, "Romantico". Born and raised in Paris, he drew influence from the local scenes while looking further afield for inspirations that shaped his sound; he names Fatboy Slim, Jamiroquai, DJ Premier and The Neptunes as his influences.
"Something in the Water" by Carrie Baxter
Irish-born, London-based Carrie Baxter serves us real Tom Misch vibes on this jazz-inflected number. Lyrically, it's a relatable bop about hangover-induced retrospection. As Carrie explains: “It is an ode to youthfulness and decisions that bring momentary joy but leave a bad taste in your mouth, both metaphorically and literally”.
"Loving The Light" by Charlotte Jane
For fans of Ariana Grande, Charlotte Jane flexes her crystalline vocals on this gorgeous new pop single. It's all about appreciating life and is generally a real mood-booster of a tune.
"Simple" by Fia Moon
Rising Irish pop singer-songwriter Fia Moon explores the complexities of relationships, life, and perspectives in new song "Simple". Of the single, Moon said: "I've always been fascinated by the fact that two people can be in the same situation but experience it through a completely different lens because of their mindset. This song really is an exploration of that and wishing I was able switch to a less complicated frame of mind, wishing things would be more simple."
"Jazz Angel (Bill)" by Morly
Part of her new album, 'Til I Start Speaking', visual artist and singer-songwriter Morly sings tenderly and ethereally on his jazzy number. The song is “about my incredible piano teacher Bill Augustine, who helped me find my way when I was drowning a bit living amidst the music industry in LA,” Morly explains. "Every week in his little Santa Monica studio, he reminded me of why I love making music and helped me reach deeper to try to touch the source.”
"Before We Were Us" by Zola Courtney
Zola Courtney takes us on a journey through her thoughts on his stripped-back, tender single. Posting on socials, Zola revealed that the song is part of a 3 track EP coming soon, explaining that, "Sometimes being with someone else means loosing a bit of yourself".
