"Things In The Way" by Porsh Bet$
The title track to an EP set to drop next month, “Things In The Way” is a statement of intent from Porsh Bet$, mixing together crisp hiphop with synthy sounds to capture the emotional toll of a long distance relationship. On the track, the artist says: “I wrote this when I first started seeing my girlfriend and I was living in LA and she was on the East Coast. When I came to the studio that day to work with M-Phazes, I was frustrated because it felt like we were missing each other and led to us starting to close off and push away from one another. I just started listing off everything that was seemingly stopping us from being together. My complaints about our circumstances eventually became the hook of the song.”
