Newcomer K I T shares his debut single, "Warm", an anthemic indie-pop bop about post-breakup feels.

For fans of contemporary pop giants Lauv, Dominic Fike, Julia Michaels, Jack Antonoff and Troye Sivan comes K I T.

Hailing from Liverpool, K I T brings his boy-next-door approach to add texture to the current pop soundscape.

Having picked up the guitar at 14, K I T went on to study songwriting and performance at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, eventually arriving at a formula consisting of writer/producers Turvey and Halls in mid 2019.

The anthemic indie-pop track would sync perfectly as the finale song in a coming of age movie, or a summer road trip song through sprawling hills. It’s a highly polished start for the emerging talent and shows promise for things to come.

“‘Warm’ is about someone who feels worn out after a break up,” K I T explains of the song. “They feel untrusting after giving their heart away to someone just for it to be broken: It’s a way of saying things will get better and I’ll be here to support you along the way.”

“Warm” is the first single taken from K I T’s debut 4-track EP, currently set for an Autumn release. If this track is anything to go by, we’re sure the EP will be one hell of a ride.
