Joey Myron is redefining country music with a western glam twist.
Heading to the airwaves for your listening pleasure is Joey Myron, an emerging country music singer/songwriter and artist from Russia. Myron’s music is blurring genres, redefining modern country music with a blend of classic influences and contemporary sounds to bring you a unique musical experience. Inspired by legends such as Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Tom Jones, while also welcoming the styles of The Weeknd and Post Malone into his music, Myron brings a timeless yet new sound to the modern country landscape.
With his parents immigrating from Russia, Myron’s childhood was immersed in classical and blues piano. However, his grandfather, a true American patriot, introduced Myron to old country music through dusty vinyl records. It was his grandfather’s country music influence that quickly led to Myron’s love for music at a young age and passion for storytelling.
Myron moved to Los Angeles, where he has worked with top producers and writers in the music industry, collaborating with leading DJ/producer Mickey Valen, who is known for his friendly electronic dance music. Together, Myron and Valen have garnered much success with the single “Chills.” With two versions—a Nashville version with a western flair and a pop-infused version—the Nashville version of “Chills” is a dark, moody track that captures Myron’s journey of “driving through the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and listening to the original.” Myron further stated, “I immediately realized I had to re-sing the song to suit the beautiful landscape.”
Myron headed to Tennessee after his time in Los Angeles. “I wanted to immerse myself in a thriving music scene rooted in the deep, rich history of country music I had always connected with,” he said.
During his time in Nashville, Myron developed a fresh, genre-blending sound, teaming up with production/artist duo Lucky Dog to bring a new sound to country music. Myron focuses on storytelling, driven by his passion for music and his mission to revive the crooner era with a modern twist.

Myron’s musical journey—from his childhood influences to working with top producers in Los Angeles and Nashville—has helped shape his distinctive artistic voice. Bringing western glam and crooner vibes to his artistry, Myron’s hit song “Chills” has reached over 90 million streams. The artist has also been featured in Vogue Magazine for a high-profile western music performance in Winter Park, Colorado.
Referred to as a musical outlier with rich baritone vocals, Myron’s track “Tennessee Baby”—a thrilling, love-drunk anthem with an infectious melody—is an undeniably cool song that highlights the artist’s skill in pushing boundaries.
While Myron has struggled to navigate the modern music industry, including the tension between artistry and marketing, the artist believes that passion and patience are key elements to a long-lasting, successful music career.
Bringing a fusion of timeless yet contemporary songs, Myron has his sights set on blending Western glam, crooner aesthetics, and storytelling in country, pop, and rock music. The singer/songwriter’s goal is to bring authenticity and live entertainment back into the music industry, exciting fans who are ready for a unique musical experience.
