What Went Down At Camila Cabello’s Album Launch Party

Having dropped her new album last week, Camila Cabello was ready to celebrate in style: taking over Soho’s iconic venue The Box last night, the Cuban-born superstar paid homage to her album C,XOXO with the help of some of London’s creative elite. Teaming up with BACARDÍ Rum, a brand that shares her Latin Caribbean heritage and love of music, the night invited stars and fans alike to celebrate the album launch with delicious rum cocktails in hand.

Guests were sipping on the ‘I LUV IT’ Punch for the evening, a brand new cocktail co-created by the singer and BACARDÍ, and named after her first single from the new album. Pairing BACARDÍ Carta Blanca white rum with some of the artist’s favourite ingredients, including St-Germain elderflower liqueur, passion fruit, lime, and coconut water, the delicious drink captured the playful and vibrant energy of C,XOXO.

The star-studded album launch party brought together the likes of actress Yasmin Finney, singer-actor-dancer Layton Williams, designer Charlotte Knowles, artist Daniel Lismore, Love Island star and rising artist Antigoni Buxton, host Will Njobvu, singer-songwriter Milena Sanchez and models Daisy Lowe and Tigerlily Taylor as well as many more.

Just days after her only UK performance at Glastonbury last weekend, Camila Cabello chose London to officially launch her new album, which marks a fresh era for the pop star featuring her newly evolved sound and to celebrate her global collaboration with BACARDÍ Rum. As well as the ‘I LUV IT’ Punch, the bar served up a ‘C,XOXO’ Colada – a delicious twist on the classic Pina Colada made with BACARDÍ Caribbean Spiced, fresh pineapple juice and coconut syrup – a Mango Cooler, made with BACARDÍ Carta Blanca, fresh mango and pineapple juice – and a No-Jito aka a Mojito mocktail.
