With Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy blankets and luxury goodies galore, the Defender boutique camp was an experience to remember. Balancing rugged escapism with hotel-level comfort, it became the ultimate retreat after long days of dancing under the stars. Outside the cosy tents, you could take a walk through the site in your cosy bathrobe to Defender’s pamper tent with beauty products and styling tools from the likes of Drunk Elephant, GHD, Living Proof and more. Also kitted out with their own bar and restaurant, there was always a spot to chill out in, have a little festival breather and a moment of luxury in Defender’s Boutique Camp.

BACKSTAGE AT THE OUTPOST BY DEFENDER

Soaking in the atmosphere from behind the decks, guests got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look of Defender’s The Outpost stage. Pulsing with curated sounds and electric performances, whether a thumping b2b set with Shanti Celeste and Peach, or Coco Maria bringing the sounds of Latin America to the UK, the stage celebrated a diversity of sound. Dedicated to emerging artists, Defender’s stage boasted Brutalist-inspired architecture and Backstage or in amongst the crowd, from checking out the bustling queue to get in to overhearing festival-goes bigging it up around the Lost Village site, The Outpost by Defender was the place to be. Transforming the space into a hidden world where music, community and adventure collided, it was a must-visit spot, bringing the energy into the early hours.

FEASTING WITH SIMON STALLARD

From cedar smoke barbecue to farm-fresh vegetables, chef Simon Stallard cooked up a storm with Defender. The open-air feasting felt equal parts theatre and indulgence, where every dish was rooted in the landscape yet elevated with festival flair. Boasting a variety of ingredients, Simon served up whole sirloins roasted on Holm Oak charcoal, free-range chicken fired up over oak, tarragon grilled halloumi, summer salads, crispy potatoes and more, all topped with a tongue-tingling selection of dressings like salsa verde, firecracker chilli salsa or garlic aioli.

WELLNESS IN THE ENERGY GARDEN

Whether meditative yoga sessions or enlightening tarot readings, the Energy Garden was the perfect place to unwind. The sanctuary within the festival offered guests a moment to reset, recharge and reconnect with themselves. Guests could step into the lakeside spa featuring wood-fired hot tubs, a Finnish sauna and cold plunge tubs, then for an extra bit of peace on Sunday afternoon, Defender set up an exclusive yoga class to offer up a pre-final festival night wellness break.
