Yellow Claw and Yung Raja unite on 'Killing It', blending trap beats with South Asian flair.

In a striking fusion of global electronic beats and South Asian lyrical flair, Dutch duo Yellow Claw have joined forces with Singapore-based Tamil rapper Yung Raja to drop their high-energy single, ‘Killing It.’ Crafted with festival stages worldwide in mind, the track is rapidly making waves across streaming platforms and social channels.

Merging Yellow Claw’s signature trap-driven production with Yung Raja’s distinctive Tanglish (Tamil-English) rap, ‘Killing It’ delivers a potent blend of booming 808s, bold synth textures, and a vibrant cross-cultural energy. It stands as a compelling example of music’s power to transcend language and borders—resonating especially with audiences across India, Malaysia, and the wider South Asian diaspora.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2010, Yellow Claw have earned a reputation for genre-blurring creativity, combining trap, bass, and hip-hop elements. The Dutch duo have built an international following with standout performances at landmark festivals including Tomorrowland, Coachella, and Ultra Music Festival.

Meanwhile, Yung Raja—credited with pioneering bilingual rap in Southeast Asia – rose to prominence with his breakout 2018 single ‘Mustafa.’ Known for seamlessly weaving Tamil and English in his lyrics, he quickly became a cultural figurehead among South Asian youth, embracing his heritage with authenticity and pride.

On ‘Killing It,’ Yellow Claw’s intense, festival-ready production meets Yung Raja’s bold, confident flow, creating a dynamic collaboration that highlights the growing global appetite for culturally inclusive music. The track underscores the rising influence of Indian and South Asian sounds in the international music landscape.

Now available on all major streaming platforms here, ‘Killing It’ is set to become a festival favourite.
