Rising artist Joey Collins delivers a cathartic performance in a new live recording of his track 'Yesterday’s Flowers Are Today’s Dreams'.

Hailing from Nottingham, Joey Collins first found solace in music during his parents’ separation. Growing into his voice, tastes, songwriting and production skills, the artist now makes his own multi-genre tracks, recreating that same experience for his own listeners. Dropping his debut album Yin-Yang in 2023 this year, the project tracked the artist’s mental health journey, exploring the relationship between light, darkness and everything in between.

Gravitating towards alternative rock, Joey’s music carries a kinetic, vivid quality that’s felt most sharply when played live. Delivering introspective lyrics with palpable emotion, Joey’s an artist who sparks connection and catharsis. His latest release encapsulates this infectious emotion – recorded with his band, The Bushido Code, ‘Yesterday’s Flowers Are Today’s Dreams – Live’ is a powerful rendition of one of his best.

Receiving praise from the likes of BBC Introducing and Spotify, the artist has garnered widespread support and is tipped as one to keep a sharp eye out for in alt-rock scene for 2024. With more music on the way and a new outlook to share, this is just the beginning.
