With previous collaborations with Fred again.., and Romy, it’s fair to say Pretty Girl is fast becoming an artist to watch. “A New Light” is her latest offering and follows after her tranquil release “All Good”.

Raised between Lagos and London, the artist draws her genre-bending sound from a variety of cultures. Throughout the past year emerging singer and guitarist planet girl has shared a string of intimate songs that perfectly amplify her jazzy flair. Back with a repurposed version of her original 2022 release “daylily”, the remix is a liquid drum and bass project amplified by producer Finnfm.

Led by frontwoman Izzy Phillips, Black Honey are an honorable modern-day example of today’s fast evolving indie-rock scene. Recently sharing their sophomore EP of the year, it’s fair to say 2023 is already off to a great start for the band. Completing their recent project of the same name, title-track “OK” is an infectious release with buoyant guitar licks and ride along lyrics.
