Dark-pop supernova, Charlotte Lawrence, gives Notion an exclusive look into a day in her life as she films the music video for her new song "Cowboy" off her self-titled EP.
Notion 88 cover star, Charlotte Lawrence, has shared her long-awaited eponymous debut EP, and what a corker it is. Spanning seven tracks, it features popular singles “Talk You Down” and “Slow Motion” as well as a re-work of her popular 2019 song “Why Do You Love Me?”. On top of that, we’ve been treated to a handful of stunning new songs – from the achingly angelic “You” to the ethereal “Cowboys”, Charlotte’s trademark breathy falsetto courses through the veins of the entire project.
Throughout the EP, Charlotte is remarkably open about her own mental health struggles and relationship struggles. “I cannot put into words how deeply ecstatic I am to finally release this EP”, Charlotte said. “It feels very nostalgic as I’ve spent the last 2 and a half years making ‘Charlotte.’ This EP is a window into my mind, heart, soul, and all my experiences. If my EP touches at least one person, then I feel like I’ve won.”
The popstar gave Notion an exclusive look behind the scenes of a busy day in her life. Over to Charlotte…
