Syncing up with Beats, Harlem hip-hop king A$AP Rocky directs a new campaign video, featuring unreleased music.
The wait for new A$AP Rocky music is over! Soundtracking the video for his commercial directional debut, the Pharell produced “RIOT (Rowdy Pip’n)” is Pretty Flacko at his finest; he skates across the regal beat with an arsenal of flows. And how better to hear the track than on a brand-new pair of Beats Studios? Back for its fourth incarnation, the iconic headphones are available now at Apple and other authorised sellers.
Alongside his creative agency AWGE, Rocky’s directed some of this century’s best music videos. Foraying effortlessly into commercials, for his Beats ad, the Harlem native seeks excitement from the everyday. “Can you run to the store? We’ve ran out of diapers” remarks Rihanna in a comedic vocal cameo, before the “Pretty Mother Fucker” darts down NYC’s streets and causes a ruckus at the convenience store. When he returns, shifting the Beats back onto his head, Ri Ri calls, “You gotta go back, this is the wrong size”. An average day in the lives of global superstars? Since the power couple had their first child, probably.
Spatial audio, noise cancelling upgrades and all-day battery life are some of the newly updated features of the Beats Studio Pro: the best-sounding Beats bar none. Find out more information here.
