London label, ASSID, presents a collection of weird and whacky graphics for Spring/Summer 2021.
Born as the hallucinogenic brainchild of three creative directors and friends on a mission to bring a little humour to every day, ASSID creates tongue-in-cheek collections with comical visuals saturated with familiar iterations of pop art comics and provocative imagery.
In an explosion of bold graphics, the SS21 collection includes a range of cotton, jersey weave hoodies, ribbed crewnecks, short sleeve and long sleeve tees. Standout images include a man with an elephant trunk with “ASSIDELIC” boldly printed in red, popping out against the graphic’s light green silhouette. Other strange highlights include a black hoodie embroidered with the falming words “Satanic Rock Music”, as well as a Marlboro Man inspired hoodie.
Presented in a look mag, inspired by magazine ads from rap music, heavy metal, and video game zines you would find under the seat in your older brother’s car.
ASSID’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection is available via assid.club, and from select retailers like LN-CC, END and Dover Street Market Singapore.
