KOKO takes us behind the madness of All Points East 2023 and into the legendary music venue’s VIP area at this year’s festival.

Since KOKO reopened last year, its provided some of the capital’s most memorable gig nights. From Skepta’s Mas Tíempo launch to sold-out shows by Ghanaian star Amaarae, the iconic venue’s presence in London’s music landscape is undeniable. This summer, the venue vacated to All Points East 2023 to host KOKO Backstage: an exclusive VIP lounge hosting superstars and lucky punters alike.

 

The bustling area became a safe haven from thunderstorms and heatwaves, as guests flocked to the bar for Casamigos’ margaritas and pina coladas cocktails. Idris Elba could be seen with a drink in his hand for Stormzy’s headline performance, while Taron Edgerton, Joe Cole, Kelly Jones and Tara du Ross all showed up backstage for The Strokes.
