Notion gets an exclusive look behind the scenes of M1llionz's new music video for "Regular Bag" - the first drill freestyle shot on film.
Notion 88 cover star, M1llionz, is back with another fast-paced freestyle that’s sure to be a smash, and we got an exclusive look behind the scenes of the visuals.
Shot in a deserted warehouse, M1llionz commands the room, delivering his bars to the camera, a slick black Range Rover behind him. Sporting a bedazzling watch and thick silver chain, the Birmingham rapper is later joined by a balaclava-laden crew for the video.
Produced by Jevon and Honeywoodsix, “Regular Bag” is led by a hard-hitting beat that M1llionz rides effortlessly with gritty bars interspersed with Birmingham lingo.
Kelvin Jones-directed video is the first-ever drill freestyle to be shot on a film camera. The visual sees the rising rapper command the room, delivering a high-energy performance that just begs to be replayed again and again.
The new freestyle and visuals come alongside news that M1llionz’s debut mixtape, ‘Provisional Liscence’, is set to drop on 17th September.
Speaking on the video, M1llionz said: “We wanted to do something different with ‘Regular Bag’ to what we have done previously, it’s important that I switch things up and keep my fans entertained. It was a pleasure working with Kelvin Jones on this one and the shoot went well. One of the first drill videos shot on film, we kept it simple but still entertaining and enjoyable to watch. ‘Provisional Licence’ incoming.”
“Regular Bag” is the fourth track lifted from the upcoming mixtape and follows June offering, “Bando Spot”, which has amassed almost 1.5million YouTube views to date.
This year alone, M1llionz has featured on tracks with Unknown T and Popcaan, as well as the England Euro anthem “Ole” with Krept & Konan. Last year, M1llionz won ‘Breakthrough MC/Vocalist’ at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards and was nominated for ‘Newcomer’ at the 2020 MOBO Awards. It seems the world truly is his oyster.
