In a move that bridges the gap between specialist clothing and streetwear, Berghaus have dropped a limited-edition capsule collection: 'BRGHS//2.22'.
You might be more accustomed to heading to Berghaus for your functional wet-weather festival gear, but the brand’s new collection demonstrates the latest step down a well-trodden path from specialist clothing to streetwear. Think The North Face, Patagonia, Arcteryx and Napapijri: all brands with mountaineering roots now equally likely to be spotted on your morning commute.
The new BRGHS//2.2 drop blends high performance, all-weather gear with streetwear silhouettes and a strong attention to detail. The collection is designed for city-living- echoed by the collection’s campaign shot in and around London- but the brand doesn’t sacrifice the functionality that we’ve come to expect from them.

Standout pieces from the collection are the Neilen Long Jacket and Pygar Jacket, both including PrimaLoft insulation RISE technology, waterproof GORE-TEX and Berghaus’ own Hydroshell technology. The shapes are simple and wearable; you can satisfy your need to follow the full-length puffer trend knowing that you will definitely stay warm this winter.
