South East London R&B Songstress Laolu breathes fresh air into her lungs with the latest visual for her new track "Buffering".
After battling with depression for a long period of time, Laolu felt like her deep waters came to a pause with stagnation about to consume. “Buffering”, the latest track and visual from this R&B prodigy is about that period where nothing seems or feels real – like your life is buffering on a slow computer.
More importantly, the tender track speaks volumes of the energy and healing process that is required when you finally take control and get your life back – feeling your soul come into your being again as the fog beings to lift. Taken from Laolu’s critically acclaimed ‘All In Me’ EP, the singer escaped to California to film the powerful and emotive visuals with director YHELLOW. The accompanying video reinforces the ultimately human feeling of when everything becomes numb, then finally feeling something.
