From West End wunderkind to R&B sensation, Miriam Nyarko’s breaking barriers with her brand new track, “Built On You”.

Powered by an uplifting faith-filled message, 20-year-old emerging artist Miriam Nyarko’s latest offering is laced with great vibes and infectious melodies. “Built on You” showcases Miriam’s mellifluous R&B-fuelled vocals, which blend seamlessly with slick guitar arrangements and Afrobeat-infused drums.

Speaking on how it came into existence, Miriam explains, The song is inspired by my Bible verse for 2023, Matthew 7:25, which says, ‘The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundations on the rock’. This song is my personal testimony shared to inspire anyone listening. This is my love story, my faith story, declaring that God is my firm foundation”.

Echoing the track’s origins, Miriam’s love for music was also born out of religion – having sung for her local church from the age of four. And from there, it was all systems go. She soon branched out into dancing and acting, starring in her first West End production at the tender age of ten. Theatre enthusiasts may have caught her as a young Nala in The Lion King, or touring with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Fast forward to today, and the multihyphenate’s latest single is her second-ever release following 2020 debut with “Step by Step”. Written and composed by Miriam, and produced by Samuel Jinadu, “Built on You” is a love letter to religion with all the makings of a smooth R&B cut.
