In his first high fashion collab, Jean Paul Gaultier have tapped Burna Boy to curate his favourite archival styles, dropping June 2nd.

Fresh from a performance at Afro Nation Festival in Miami over Memorial, this week has been a busy one for Nigerian mega-star Burna Boy. Marking the singer’s first high fashion collaboration, he’s been conscripted by the Gaultier house to choose his favourite sunglasses for re-edition.

The two limited-edition styles come four colourways and incorporate some inspiration for Burna Boy’s latest album “Love, Damini”. The brand teased the release with a huge party at their Paris headquarters earlier this month, with more than 40,000 people in attendance.

The campaign for the collection was shot by Marcin Kepski, with Burna amongst a heavily 1990s inspired set, reflecting the vibe of the glasses.

The sunglasses will be sold on Jeanpaulgaultier.com and at select retailers.
