Nigerian-British songstress Azul Kechi debuts her latest single, “Crazy Dreams”, a compelling soundscape that reflects self-discovery and questioning reality.

Ahead of her highly anticipated debut album, ‘Celestial Love’, Azul Kechi, the south London-hailing singer-songwriter, has just dropped new single, “Crazy Dreams”. With a handful of divergent influences including Amy Winehouse, Betty Davis, and Lauryn Hill, Azul weaves together a tapestry of soul, pop and R&B. A rich soundscape is thus born, sitting beneath her lyrics that narrate a journey of self-discovery, as well as her questioning of reality, and getting in touch with her subliminal.

“Crazy Dreams” manifests as a colourful dance-pop track, driven by an assortment of organic instrumentation. From her well-honed vocals to eclectic experimentation in the track, it’s clear that Azul is looking to build on the previous success she has achieved with radio and Spotify inclusions. She’s had support from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music, Jazz FM, as well as a host of Spotify Editorial Playlists, including New Music Fridays and Fresh Finds UK & IE.

As Azul Kechi gears up to release further singles this year, as well as her forthcoming debut album, tune in to “Crazy Dreams” now.
