Leading urban electric car company CUPRA continue their collaboration with major European festival Primavera Sound, announcing 2023’s festival under the new concept “Mirroring you, I’ll be your mirror”.
Dazzling once again with a stellar lineup of international talent, CUPRA and Primavera Sound, this week, announced the first 200 names to play the festival’s 2023 edition. Like previous years, the best in pop, punk, reggaeton and other mainstream genres grace the poster, which includes names such as Blur and FKA Twigs, as well as Notion 92 cover star Flowerovlove.
Alongside the reveal, CUPRA and Primavera Sound announced that the festival will be taking place in both Barcelona and Madrid for the first-time next year. Sharing much of the same lineup across both cities, the event’s expansion reflects its new tagline, “Mirroring you, I’ll be your mirror”, which illustrates the iconic nature of each area.
Giving a glimpse into the company’s future, CUPRA teased their Tavascan car release and exciting metahype announcement in the Primavera campaign, too. The CUPRA Tavascan is set for release in 2024, whilst the metahype, a new collaborative space in the metaverse, is to be launched next year. The announcement took place in CUPRA’s augmented reality landscape, where two avatars drive their Tavascans across Spain to Primavera Sound. Committed to inspiring new generations of creative talent, CUPRA and Primavera Sound’s ongoing relationship strengthens the automobile company’s passion for music.
