Emerging disco-pop artist Rheo Uno bounces back with addictive new release “Don't Wanna Be In Love (DWBIL)".

Praised by BBC Introducing and Tastemaker press, Rheo Uno is an exciting new pop artist building an impressive fanbase. Making a name for herself with her 2021 debut release “Wife Me?”, Rheo has since proved she has a trick or two up her sleeve and is back with an addictive new release “Don’t Wanna Be In Love”.

Having recently won Best Female Solo Artist at the NREA Music Awards 2022 and the Unsigned Only 2022 International Songwriting Competition, Rheo is fast-becoming one to watch. Hitting Track of the Week on BBC Introducing across two consecutive single releases, “Don’t Wanna be In Love” follows up as a track co-written by Monarchy Music Charles Drew and Amira Eldine.

Exploring the track’s storyline Rheo tells: “It’s about breaking free and living your best life, escaping a controlling partner and being true to yourself. For the first time, I can actually say I am happy with my sound, it’s who I am, not who I think I should be. I think this new sound I’ve been working on is bouncy and fresh, the fact I can sit and listen to myself on repeat is unheard of, so it’s safe to say I’m loving the way these new tracks are sounding”.
