Flexing icy blue hoodies, pull-over sweatshirts and sweatpants, Drake’s latest NOCTA collection will be releasing on July 27.

This summer’s been a scorcher, but the high temperatures and relentless heat waves don’t seem to be affecting Drake. Taking to Instagram this week to reveal the first look at his new NOCTA x Nike collaboration, many will have been surprised to see the 6 God keeping his cool in an ice blue Tech Fleece set. Yes, that’s right, the Canadian superstar wants a sweatsuit summer. And whether you agree with him or not, one thing’s for sure, the collection is some serious drip.

Or sweat, maybe? With temperatures reaching an all-time high here in Europe, it’s hardly fleece season. The Nike Tech uniform is legendary here in England: a true wardrobe staple, whether running errands or your ends, playing sport or enjoying a lazy evening in front of the TV. There isn’t really a situation where a Tech Fleece doesn’t feel necessary.

Nevertheless, the Tech Fleece certainly had its moment, and since it peaked in 2013, the piece has been on a downward spiral. A Drake co-sign might be just what the line needs for a 2023 revival. Or maybe it’s just what the superstar rapper needs to stay cosy while on his ‘It’s All a Blur’ tour with 21 Savage.

The collection will be available from Nike’s online store on July 27.
