Anaïs Cardot, a rising sensation in the music world, is garnering excitement with her debut EP, ‘Pink Magnolia‘. Featuring standout tracks like ‘Colors’ and ‘Purple Room’, it’s a project that showcases Cardot’s musical talent and artistry.


One of the most striking aspects of the EP is the release of the official video for the final track, ‘Élodie’. The video emanates a charming vintage quality, perfectly harmonising with the soft and gentle vocals of the song. It presents many a heartwarming scene, infusing the track with a tremendous sense of positivity. Anaïs Cardot’s songwriting explores themes that are universally relatable, including self-love, mental health, and a constant battle with sadness. Her journey in music began at the young age of 14, and she has since cultivated a devoted fan base since her debut in 2020. The artist’s story is further enriched by her triumph over adversity – confronting the challenges posed by Arthrogryposis, a condition that initially limited her physical abilities, she discovered her voice through music. 


In 2023, Cardot’s talent has earned her praise from both the press and industry giants, including Masego, PJ Morton, and Lizzie McAlpine. Her recent graduation from Ottawa University in Canada marks a significant milestone, serving to only further propel her musical career. As a performer, her journey is as captivating as her musical evolution – her very first headline show was a sold-out success at the National Arts Center in Ottawa, Canada. She even graced the stage at the Pique Festival in Ottawa on the same day she graduated, showcasing her unwavering dedication to her craft.


It seems like the sky’s the limit for Anaïs Cardot, and with ‘Élodie’, she’s solidifying her position as an artist to watch in 2023 and beyond.
