The 2000s are calling and Ganni x Juicy Couture are the latest pair of brands ready to answer - in the form of a 13 piece collaborative collection.

Although we have reached a point where no collaboration can surprise us, the team up between stylish Scandi-cool Ganni and LA cult-brand Juicy Couture is somewhat unexpected. As the Y2K resurgence continues, it seems even Ganni’s creative director Ditte Reffstrup can’t resist Miss Hilton’s favourite velour-laden label.

The collection doesn’t stray far from Juicy’s iconic aesthetic, rather Ganni details and logo prints adorn vibrantly coloured sets in shades of blue, purple, beige, and black. As well as tracksuit sets, the collective includes a mix of t-shirts, caps, tops and accessories. Another edit to the velour we know and love is the recasting of the signature tracksuit in organic and pre-consumer recycled cotton, in addition to recycled polyester.

 

Reffstrup has explained the team-up: “Being able to work with them on making the most responsible version yet was a great extra layer to the collaboration […]  For the collection, we wanted to keep the essential 2000s mood and LA vibe while bringing some of GANNI’s contemporary Scandi feel to it.”

The collection is set to launch Wednesday 30th March in GANNI stores, on GANNI’s website and Juicy Couture’s UK website.
