Miami-based brand 'Come On' have released their latest Army Collection: with military-inspired pieces and a provocative visual campaign.

‘Come On’ are asking the all-important question: “Are you alive?”  with the latest collection dropped by the label. The pieces take inspiration from traditional military uniforms, alongside American street fashion of the 1960s and 70s. The fabrics are varied: utilising traditional tartan, velvet, and organic cotton while maintaining the brand’s close attention to careful tailoring. Think bold colours, wide lapels, and timeless cuts.

The collection releases alongside a visual video campaign shot at the historic Tower Theater in Miami, showcasing the collection and provoking wider issues. The film explores a couple discovering their personal boundaries, whilst engaging with the concept of the collection overall: that an army of individuals can unite over a common ethos. ‘Come On’ asks questions about the nature of intimacy, voyeurism, and genuine interactions whilst our lives are moderated by screens.

The collection also marks the first line of accessories for Come On, including belts, handbags, and neckwear to compliment the statement pieces. As with many fashion collections in recent months, there is a commitment to the environment as items are sustainably crafted from fabric scraps reused from the design process. Not only this, but each item was produced by locally-employed seamstresses and tailors in Miami.

The Army Collection debuted at New York Fashion Week, and launched online at comeonworld.com.
