Self-produced artist JD Cliffe drops latest technicolour track, “Glow Different”.
Fusing his smooth flow with the eclecticism of afrobeats, JD Cliffe has produced yet another dreamy single. He’s teamed up with afrobeat star “Ayüü”, culminating in a multi-layered track of bravado-fuelled rap, dreamy vocals and a throbbing beat.
With a Colors Berlin session to his name and support from BBC Radio 1Xtra, there’s no slowing down for JD. He’s shared the stage with Kojo Funds and Smoke Boys earlier in his career, and after his debut single in 2018, was selected by Complex as an artist to watch.
Speaking on his new release “Glow Different”, JD explains that it is, “Lively, atmospheric and fun. It’s a song that really encompasses being young and free whilst also celebrating the beauty of black women.”
