Blue w3rD’s Gods Amongst Men fuses street knowledge, spirituality, and art into a genre-defying sonic statement.

Blue w3rD isn’t just making music, he’s constructing an entire world. With Gods Amongst Men, the Philadelphia-based artist delivers a genre-blurring, spirit-soaked EP that’s as much fine art as it is sonic rebellion. Nine tracks deep and pulsing with bass-driven grooves, the project traverses the terrain between golden-era hip-hop, streetwise lyricism, and something altogether transcendent.

At the heart of Gods Amongst Men is the lead single of the same name: a lush, experimental slice of ‘spirit rap’ that encapsulates Blue’s fierce individuality. Brimming with colourful melodies, sample-heavy production, and razor-sharp flows, the track is a calling card for an artist who refuses to colour inside the lines. “This is fine art,” Blue explains. “It’s hip-hop and spirit rap – an exploration through beats and rhymes.”

But Gods Amongst Men isn’t just an audio experience, it’s a visual one, too. Each song arrives tethered to a digital artwork created by Blue himself, forming a multimedia narrative presented in a digital album magazine. The project’s beats, courtesy of producer Kayin, lay down the perfect canvas for Blue’s lyrical mysticism and Afro-futurist leanings.

Having shared stages with heavyweights like Flying Lotus, Flatbush Zombies, and A$AP ANT, Blue w3rD continues to carve his own sacred space in the music scene — one beat, bar, and brushstroke at a time.
