Back after three years, Patron Saint for sad girls, Elizabeth, shares her latest track "Happier Now", the first single from a trilogy.

After a three year hiatus following her dreamy debut album The Wonderful World of Nature, Australia’s Elizabeth announces her return with “Happier Now”, one of a trilogy of singles set for release.

Co-written by the Temper Trap’s Toby Dundas and produced by Konstantin Kersting, “Happier Now” is a testament to Elizabeth’s growth. While her debut album was born out of heartbreak following her divorce, “Happier Now” is a cool reminder that Elizabeth has rebuilt herself from the ashes, stronger and as enigmatic as ever.

Discussing the track, Elizabeth says, ‘Happier Now is about the feelings that come after a heartbreak, you know, you are getting better, you are healthier, you won’t fall apart if you see your ex at a party. But you also start to have the rose-coloured nostalgia for a relationship that was no good and wondering what could have been if you’d been able to make it work.’

The track is released alongside a stunning video that sets Elizabeth’s glittering world alight, courtesy of friend and collaborator Nick Mckk. Like a phoenix reborn, the ethereal Elizabeth glows in an iridescent peach gown against a moody natural landscape. The visuals serve as a fitting reminder that “Happier Now” marks a momentous shift for the artist. Get reacquainted.
