Praised southern artist Denitia offers us an exclusive preview of her brand-new album ‘Highways’.

Previously know for her stellar work in pop/R&B, queer artist Denitia is ready to get in touch with her roots with the release of her very first folk/country album “Highways”. On a new journey of re-discovering herself, the Hudson Valley artist bares her soul through a newfound connectedness to nature and inner peace. “Highways” has been highly anticipated since the top of the year. Having released single after single, we are excited to announce her full length project, uplifted by wistful vocals and the buoyant chimes of tambourine.

Having originally gained her confidence from performing at praise and worship services, Denitia presents a uniquely captivating vocal control fit for any genre, and we are pleased to hear it thrive in the folk/country world. A natural born fit for her new style, “Highways” captures themes of grief, self love, longing, nostalgia and even loneliness. We grow with her and feel her transition fuelled by the isolation of the pandemic, which sparked the inspiration for her to seek new beginnings.

The introspective new project follows the releases of “Old Friend”, “White Lights” and “All the Sweet Tea”. Whether you’re at home in your backyard or behind the wheel while rolling through the countryside, her music makes its mark as a relatable and refreshingly authentic piece of music that serves as a brilliant introduction into the next chapter of Denitia’s adventurous music career.
