Ridley Scott’s lethal fashion flick, House of Gucci, will arrive in UK cinemas in November with a star-studded cast.

Glamour and murder come head-to-head in director Ridley Scott’s latest feature, House of Gucci. Taking the 1995 assassination of Maurizio Gucci as his subject, the Alien and Blade Runner director opts for fashion militants over Martians, turning from the extra-terrestrial to the sartorial.

The script written by Roberto Bentivegna – inspired by Sara Gay Forden’s The House Of Gucci: A Sensational Story Of Murder, Madness, Glamour And Greed – the adaptation sees Adam Driver play the couture giant Guccio Gucci’s grandson (who was the original founder of the famed Italian fashion house.) Lady Gaga stars as Patrizia Reggiani, Gucci’s ex-wife who became embroiled in his murder. In real life, she was only released from prison in 2016.

The stylish biopic also stars Italian icon Al Pacino, Salma Hayek, Jeremy Irons, Jack Huston, and Reeve Carney, along with a completely unrecognizable Jared Leto. A glimpse of the film afforded by the trailer shows Gaga sporting some to-die-for looks and a questionable accent.

House of Gucci will arrive in cinemas on 26th November.
