PHOEBE AXA calls back to a rough past relationship in her latest single, giving us a video exclusive.

PHOEBE AXA’s ethos is all about being self-taught. Her music began its life from her kitchen, where she taught herself the ropes using GarageBand and refined her own personal sound. Soon, she would upgrade to her family’s garage, which has become the base of inspirations for all things musical.

Her origin story took another thrilling twist when she took on the open mic at the BBC Introducing stage at Latitude Festival at age 17, and her performance was so successful that she was invited back to perform the next day. From there on, her journey towards fame was set.

She’s continuing to grow and experiment musically, as shown by her latest track, “I Was Supposed To Be Fine”. It’s a punchy tune that’s infused with the riotous spirit of pop-punk, with PHOEBE AXA’s passionate delivery and bold, often self-deprecating lyrics capturing the intensity of emotion following a relationship that has just broken down.
